We collect information you provide directly:

  • Name and email address for account creation
  • Phone number for verification and caller ID
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
  • Call history and usage data

Contacts

With your permission, we access your device contacts to help you find and call people easily. We only access phone numbers from Ethiopia (+251) and Eritrea (+291). Contact data is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (model, operating system)
  • App usage analytics
  • Crash reports and performance data

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain our VoIP calling services
  • Process payments and manage your account balance
  • Send service notifications (low balance alerts, call summaries)
  • Improve our services and develop new features
  • Comply with legal obligations

SMS Communications

We use your phone number to send SMS messages for account verification (one-time passwords) and important transactional notifications. These messages are delivered through Twilio, our SMS service provider. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or contacting support@abaylabs.com. 4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service Providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication), Twilio (SMS verification), VoIP carriers (call routing)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication tokens, and regular security audits. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Call history is retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Opt out of marketing communications

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
