ABAY Labs is a software studio based in Austin, Texas. We design and build websites, custom software, mobile apps, and AI integrations for growing businesses, and we build and run our own app, Malda.
Abay is the Amharic name for the Blue Nile. It starts as a small stream in the Ethiopian highlands and ends up carrying life across a continent. We like to think good software works the same way: start small, build it carefully, and let it carry people further.
That idea started with Malda. Families spread between the United States and East Africa deserve clear, honest calls and simple airtime top-ups, so we built them an app and we keep running it every day. The same care goes into every project we take on for clients.
